    Tripura is north east region state of India. It is third smallest sate of India which covers ten thousand four hundred ninety one kilometers square. It is boarded with Bangladesh to north, and with two Indian states as Assam and Mizoram to east. The total resident in the state Tripura as per 2011 census records was 3,671,032. The residents of the state Sikkim of 30% are belonging to Indigenous communities. The state of Sikkim is formed in 1972, 21st January. The largest city and capital city of the state is Agartala. The total districts in the state Sikkim are Dhalai, Sipahijala, Khowai, Gomati, Unakoti, North Tripura, South Tripura and West Tripura. The present Governor of the Sikkim state is Tathagata Roy. The current Chief Minister of this state is Manik Sarkar, belongs to Community Party of India (Marxist). The literacy rate of Sikkim state is 94.65%. And the official Languages of Sikkim state are Bengali and Kokborok.
    The Sikkim state has unicameral legislature, with one house and it is called Vidhan Sabha. The Tripura state legislative assembly has total 60 elected members and the tenure is five years until it is dissolved. The state of Tripura contributes two seats in Lok Sabha of Indian Parliament. The main political parties of the state Tripura are Communist Party of India (Marxist), Indian National Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party, Communist Party of India, All India Trinamool Congress, Revolutionary Socialist Party, and Amra Bangalee. In the 2009 state legislative assembly elections, the CPI (M) won more than 50% seats in assembly seats from total 60 seats. And the current speaker of state assembly is Shri Ramendra Chandra Debnath. And the deputy speaker of the state is Shri Bhanu Lal Saha. And the leader of opposition party is Shri Ratan Lal Nath from Indian National Congress. Some of the state legislative assembly are Shri Pranab Debbarma and Shri Ratan Nath.


    One who has lost their Election card by reason like theft, misplace or if it is damage accidently so badly that it is impossible to view details of voter id card as name, address, photo, EPIC number etc. then the only thing you can do after this is to apply for duplicate voter ID card to the state Chief Election Commission. We all know that EPIC is necessary and need at every time. So let’s start procedures how to apply for duplicate voter ID card in Tripura state:

    When know that your voter ID card is lost then immediately move to file a FIR to your local Police station and carefully take them a copy of FIR, it is needed at time of application submission.

    Next you have to take an application form for filing application. Visit to your nearest BLO or Chief Election Commission and take form 002 of application of duplicate voter ID card.

    Fill in it all information’s as name, father’s name, address, EPIC card number, state, assembly constituency etc. No fake information should be filed in it otherwise your application will be rejected.

    Attach with it FIR copy and an Identity proof of your. Put application form and documents in an envelope.

    Now reach to your nearest Election Commission office and submit envelop. And take receipt which is required in future.

    After 30 to 40 days you will receive your duplicate voter ID card to your address or to your nearest BLO office.
