The Vote ID Card is an essential document of Indian citizens issued by the Chief Electoral Officer of the respective states. It is an identity proof and residence proof of peoples. Without of having an Election Card, the citizen is not able to cast a vote in Elections. But sometimes there is an objection inclusion or seeking deletion of name in electoral rolls due to shifting in another constituency, due to death or any other reasons. In such case, it is our moral responsibility as an Indian that we have to take objection of that Voter Card. The citizen can also seek deletion of any other person’s name in Voter list due to Death/Shifting. In Rajasthan State, The Chief Electoral Officer provides the facility to those citizens who seeking deletion of name in Voter List. The CEO also provides online web portal (URL: - https://ceorajasthan.nic.in) to their users for improving communication from the Electors of Rajasthan and the Election Department. It provides all important forms related to EPIC for download purpose. This web portal designed and developed by the State Level Agency-REIL and content provided by Office of the CEO, Rajasthan. Application for Objecting Inclusion or Seeking Deletion of Name in Voter List in Rajasthan State Any Indian citizens whose name is already included in the same constituency can apply for objecting inclusion or seeking deletion of name in electoral roll. The application must be filed in Form-7. See rules 13 (2) and (26) of Registration of Electors Rule, 1960. The “Application Form 7” is available on the official web portal of the Chief Electoral Officer, Rajasthan, and the link is given below. The application form is available in two languages in English and In Hindi, download the form by clicking the below link as per your convenience. Required Documents for Deletion of Election Card- Application in prescribed proforma (Form-7) Elector’s Photo Identity Card which is to be deleted Identity proof of the person whose name is to be deleted Objector Identity Proof is required as Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport etc. All documents photocopies should be duly attested by gazetted officers. The Procedure to fill Application Form-7 for Voter ID Card Deletion (Rajasthan) First of all, the applicant needs to fill their Assembly/Parliamentary Constituency. Then select one alternative among of 3 alternative options as you are filing this application to the proposed inclusion of the name of the other person or you request that the entry included in electoral roll is required to be deleted or you demand that the entry relating to yourself is to removed from the voter list. Rest of details to fill up the application form is followings. (A) Please enter the particulars of the Applicant- Enter the Name and Surname of applicant Then enter the Part Number and Serial Number of Constituency Please enter the Voter’s Photo Identity Card Number (B) Fill the Details of person inclusion of whose name is objected, whose entry is to be deleted- Write the Name and Surname whose name is to be deleted from the Voter List. Also, write the Part Number and Serial Number Elector’s Photo Identity Card Number of that person Please fill the reason for Objecting Inclusion or seeking name deletion from the electoral roll due to Change Residence Address, due to Death or other reasons. Give a properly specific reason. (C) Declaration/Statement- Now fill the self-declaration that the facts and particulars you filled above are correct and true to the best of your knowledge. Giving a false declaration is punishable under section 31 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950). Enter the Place and Date, in the end, do your Signature or thumb impression. The last part of the application form will be filled by the Electoral Registration Officer of the Constituency. Attached the supporting documents along with the form and submit it to the Office of ERO/AERO or any Booth Level Officer of your area. While submission of the application form also collects the acknowledgment receipt for further reference. The authorized officer comes for the verification, give the proper details. Once verification is completed, the person's name will be permanently deleted from Electoral Roll.
